About Sonoran Hospital Medicine, PLC
Historically locum tenens practices focus on providing a temporary doctor whose job it is to serve as a placeholder within a hospital.
While that may be the reason to bring on a locum tenens doctor, at Sonoran Hospital Medicine, PLC, we believe that our highest purpose is to serve your patients with compassionate, competent care.
When we work with patients, we understand that we’re there to help them and their families make smart decisions about their care.
That’s why we emphasize educating patients, sharing with them the resources available from the hospital for their care, and providing guidance for care long after they have been discharged.
We promise the following:
- For patients – We focus on being clear and answering all of your questions. We’ll advocate for you and provide care plans grounded in sound medical practice.
- For hospitals – We aren’t just temporary doctors – we become part of your team. We take on your standards and best practices, so even though we aren’t on your staff, it’ll feel like we are.
- For agencies – We’re a reliable partner; we’ll only take on the engagements we know we can keep.
Our primary focus as a locum tenens practice is providing hospitalist coverage services across the United States with an emphasis on long-term engagements (90 days or more).
Sonoran Hospital Medicine, PLC takes the privacy of patients that we serve seriously. We never retain any records within our practice and only utilize the patient management systems through the hospitals where we provide services.
